Free initial
consultation by phone, you'll answer some basic questions about what your story idea is, what (if anything) you've already
done, and what you'd like to achieve. You'll also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the course.
Takes 10-15 minutes, and then, if you're interested:
COURSE FEE: $500 tuition, half due up front (non-refundable),
the balance due after the 4th session.
MATERIALS YOU'LL NEED:
Basics - A notebook, pen/pencil, and a tape recorder
or digital voice recorder if you have one.
Textbooks - There are several books that will be recommended, depending
on your writing experience and skill level. All are available at any bookstore or online retailer, even a public library.
Remember those?
Computer Stuff - Anything from an old Smith Corona typewriter to the newest laptop will work. And while
Final Draft or another screenwriting software program is recommended, it certainly isn't necessary. Much of the course can
be completed before script-writing software will be needed, so you'll have time to decide if it's something you'd like to
invest in. It sure makes the whole process a lot easier, though.
