Once you've completed the Basics of Screenwriting course
and have a first draft in your hands, you'll enter a brave new world: Rewriting your screenplay.
This doesn't reflect
a failure of the course or of you as a screenwriter. Rewriting is a vital and inescapable part of the process, and ALL scripts
(yes, even the ones claimed to have been found scribbled on bar napkins and looseleaf paper) go through any number of revisions
before they move forward.
While there is currently no course offered in that regard, additional tutoring or a more
detailed critical analysis of your script may be available. You've got some work to do first, though, so don't stress out
about that just yet.
Best thing to do once you're done? Put that first proud draft in a drawer, on a shelf, or bury
it in the backyard, and get to work on your second script with the tools you've newly acquired. There are countless stories
waiting to be told...
